- Story Capture & Community Voices
- Document and share the lived experiences of the Tamil community from the success stories of Tamil business and cultural leaders to the memories of elders, capturing their journeys, their life back home, and the history they carry within them before it is lost.
- Heritage Preservation
- Through dedicated documentation projects, Salaram preserves Tamil history and cultural identity for future generations honouring where they came from while building a record that belongs to the entire community.
- Tamil Literature & Writers
- Champions Tamil literary voices by supporting and promoting Tamil writers, giving their work a platform and encouraging a new generation of storytellers to express themselves in their mother tongue.
- Tamil Language Promotion
- Actively promotes Tamil language use among younger generations through engaging social media campaigns, creative competitions, and community challenges designed to make Tamil relevant, joyful, and alive in everyday life.
- Seminars & Workshops
- Hosts seminars and workshops that bring knowledge, dialogue, and community connection creating spaces where Tamil Canadians can learn, share, and grow together.
- Youth Engagement
- At the heart of their work is a commitment to the next generation encouraging young Tamil Canadians to speak, write, and take pride in their language and cultural heritage.
